Kayla Burgess is based in Cincinnati, OH, and danced at the University of Cincinnati from 2013-2017 on the Varsity team where they won UDA Nationals in the Hip Hop division 2014, 2015 & 2017. They were also the US National Team and winning in the Hip Hop Division 2014, 2015 & 2016 with a gold in Pom. After graduating in 2017 she started coaching at Oak Hills High School for their youth dance program. Kayla's home gym is Queen City Storm Cheer & Dance where she has choreographed  hip-hop and pom routines since 2017. Their teams have earned multiple summit bids including 2 paid bids for junior hip hop teams as well as multiple All Star World Championships bids for every elite dance team in the program. Kayla choreographs all levels of hip hop, all levels of pom, and mini or youth jazz routines. She has a passion for working with youth and junior teams.

 

In 2025, Kayla did choreography for the Xavier University Pom team.  Kayla also judges all-star dance competitions.
